The Baikal Minerals Group of Companies includes enterprises for the extraction of talc ore from the Onotskoye deposit, its processing, grinding and granulation.
The talc ore from the Onotskoye deposit is the highest quality of the ores in the Russian Federation. The raw materials mined there contain a minimum amount of impurities of other rocks. It is located in the Cheremkhovskiy district of the Irkutsk region and is located in the northern part of the Onotsko-Savinsky ore field.
The company's main product is white ground and micronized talc, which is distinguished by high chemical purity, the absence of amphibole and crystalline quartz.
Talc ore is processed in unique jet-rotor mills, which ensure a high degree of homogeneity of the resulting product and allow full control over the fineness of grinding. These mills are unique and designed in the company's own design bureau.
The quality of the products is guaranteed by strict laboratory control of the stability of technical characteristics, and the development and release of each brand is carried out in close cooperation with leading industry specialists.
Consumers of the products are numerous enterprises of various industries: paint and varnish, chemical, construction, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food, plastic, electrode, ceramic, mechanical engineering, pulp and paper, pencil, cable, etc.
