About talc

Talc is both a natural mineral and a rock formed by this mineral. It is an industrial finely ground raw material used in various industries mainly as a filler.

Talc is odorless, practically insoluble in water and weak solutions of acids and alkalis. It is neither explosive nor flammable. Talc is close to some organic substances and therefore is an organophilic mineral.

Physical and mechanical properties of talc: softness, greasiness, slipperiness, stickiness, easy splitting and grindability.

Talc is considered one of the most environmentally and hygienically safe minerals. It does not cause any harm to the skin or the body when ingested. Numerous studies in Russia, Europe and North America have shown that talc dust is inert and non-toxic, and talc powder is not classified as a carcinogenic substance.

In the production of our products, talc from the Onotskoye deposit is used, in which no signs of asbestos and arsenic were found, due to which it can be freely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and the food industry. It also does not contain crystalline quartz, which contributes to rapid wear of equipment.
